ST MORITZ – Day 2

The evening was great as I persuaded Julie to ride the funicular with me up to a place called Muottas Muragl where there is a Hotel called Romantik Hotel! Ahhh Aint it sweet.

Set 3303 metres above sea level it is the highest restaurant in the Eastern Alps. So peaceful in spite of the numbers of people being up there.

Hope we don’t get called on for overtime today!
Much too stressed.

It is as if we were on top of the world, looking down on other mountain peaks in the distance.

Unlike the experience in Zermatt where it was bloody freezing, here was quite warm and calm.

We had dinner in the restaurant before returning in the funicular. Nearly had to leave poor Julie behind as she had a melt down at the last minute and almost refused to get on the funicular.

Why the heck anyone would freak at dropping 900+ meters at an angle of 45 degrees beets me! Well, I think it’s great fun.

Anyway, I got her back to ground level in one piece and it’s on to Salzburg tomorrow.
