TUMBI UMBI

This entry is out of sequence. I meant to post it before the previous 3 entries. We have had great trouble getting internet access but as we are now spending 3 days in Broome I can actually post.

We have just spent the past 3 days in Tumbi Umbi, NSW. No, I’m not kidding! It’s where Julies’ Mom lives and is next door to Kangi Angi, so there you have it!!!! If you want to question it look in the location of Woy Woy, NSW.

We stayed with Julies’ Mom for a few days before catching the Indian Pacific to
Adelaide.

It was great to catch up with Robyn again; she is not a well lady having just had her fourth heart attack a couple of weeks ago. On top of that she is fighting her third episode of cancer so really she is doing well.

Mom clearly enjoyed having us there and delighted in taking us out and about the area.

On the first full day she took us to the Japanese Gardens and on a general tour around the area.

The coastline and beaches are really pretty and it served as a reminder just how beautiful Australia is.

In spite of all our travels we both still marvel at how fortunate we are to live here.

The next day we had a later start to the day; we took in a movie in the afternoon and then went out to dinner.

All in all it was a brief visit but great to catch up with Mom before heading back to Sydney to catch the train to Adelaide.
